Antonio Almena

Antonio Almena here (aka Anthony by my friends), and I have been asked to submit a statement of work by this prestigious gallery. In all honesty I find such statements of work a bit pretentious. I always felt that you the viewer can make your own conclusions based on the work presented to you. With that said, I approach all my projects with you (the viewer) in mind. My goal is to communicate to you my process and passions. In doing so, the challenge is always the finding the balance between the process and the materials in my communication. With this new partnership with this gallery, I hope to continue this process and dialogue with you. I am excited to continue my work under this partnership and hope to present to you work that compels and transcends.
