Harvest Henderson
Harvest Henderson works primarily in installation, often utilizing organic elements that have been altered or are in the process of decomposition, as well as sewn papers, repurposed paper waste, yarns and fabrics.
Her recent exhibits include a full-sized replica of a bedroom sewn from to-do lists and sticky notes; a fantasy landscape made of fresh sod, spray paint and pornography; and a chandelier strung together from over 300 apples. Portland's Willamette Week has described Harvest's installation work as "conceptual but not arid, thought-provoking but still satisfying visually and spatially."
Harvest graduated from the University of Minnesota; she lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
